Teela is the primal femal character of the MOTU mithology, in her first depiction she was the chosen guardian of Castle Greyskull, a warrior woman that in the heat of the battle could call on the fightin' spirit of her warrior ancestor and become some sort of a bersekin' fury.

I really love yor drawing, not only was she the original motu female, but the most iconic, everything from her snake armor, to her snake staff.
